Ultrasound
Ultrasound uses sound waves to create an image of a specific part of the body.
We offer cutting edge image quality which results in earlier detection and treatment for our patients.
CT Scan
CT (Computerized Tomography) – or also referred to as a CAT Scan (Computerized Axial Tomography) – uses computer data from several x-ray images from a person’s body and converts them into pictures on a monitor. A good comparison is looking at one slice of bread within the whole loaf.
Our 16 slice CT Scanner produces cross sectional images with the ability to read 3D and multiplaner reconstruction.
Digital Mammography
Digital Mammography is twice as fast as conventional film based mammography. Digital Mammography offers 29 percent greater detection of breast cancer in women under 50.
Our Digital Mammography is ACR accredited. We also use computer-aided detection, which alerts the physician to look more closely at subtle warning signs.
Portable Radiography
Portable Radiography (X-ray) is a basic service, but vital to both patients and physicians. This service allows x-rays to be performed bedside for patients who are unable to visit the Radiology Department.
Fluoroscopy
Fluoroscopy is a study of moving body structures, similar to an x-ray movie.
We offer a large field of view fluoroscopy, which is used in a wide array of tests from simple swallowing studies to PICC line insertions.
