Ombudsmen are advocates who protect and promote the rights of residents in long-term care facilities. If you have questions, concerns, or complaints about your rights and care, an ombudsman will:

Respect your choices

Protect your rights

Help resolve concerns and complaints

Offer ideas and options

Support resident and family councils

Ombudsman services are confidential and free of charge.
